We recommend that you upgrade to QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 as soon as possible to avoid disruption to your business.
With this upgrade, you can continue to accept payments and will be on fully supported Point of Sale and Payments versions. Upgrading to QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 will also cover necessary software changes required to be EMV (chip cards) compliant.
