QuickBooks Desktop Plus & Enterprise Users – Upgrade to 2024 Version Today
We highly recommend that all QuickBooks Desktop users upgrade to the latest 2024 version (v24 for Enterprise). As long as you have an active subscription, you already own the software and there is no software cost to you.
All prior versions are no longer supported. Once you have upgraded to 2024 version, you will not have to install a complete upgrade annually any more. Intuit engineers have streamlined the update/upgrade process. QuickBooks Desktop users using the 2024 version, will be notified in product when an update patch or product upgrade is available to download and install. This ensures that you have all of the latest and greatest functionality and security patches.
You can access your download and license information by logging into your Intuit account at QuickBooks My Account.

QuickBooks Desktop Users With Non-Subscription Unsupported Versions (prior to 2024)
If you are currently using an version of QuickBooks Desktop prior to 2024 that is not a Plus (subscription) version, we recommend that you give us a call to discuss your options and what is best for your business. Though your software may continue to work, at some point, it may not. Since it is no longer supported, we recommend making a change soon. You do not want to lose your valuable accounting history.
In the meantime, be sure to run the built in data integrity verification utility to check for data corruption and MAKE FREQUENT BACKUPS. If your backups contain corrupted data, we may not be able to restore them. To run the utility: In QuickBooks, click on File – Utilities – Verify Data. If this utility detects a problem, contact us. Do not run the Rebuild utility across a network because this can damage your file and cause it to be unrecoverable.

As Intuit support is getting harder to access, we wanted to point out a few important items. DO NOT EVER GOOGLE INTUIT SUPPORT OR CALL A PHONE NUMBER FOR INTUIT FOUND ON THE INTERNET. There are many impostors out there. Intuit will never charge you for support or call you asking for money. They will not call you about a subscription that is lapsing or ask for payment over the telephone. The best way to contact support is from within QuickBooks.
