Intuit has announced that QuickBooks Desktop 2018 will no longer be supported After May 31, 2021
Discontinuation Information
Access to add-on services will be discontinued for QuickBooks 2018 Desktop (Windows and Mac). This includes all versions of QuickBooks Desktop 2018 (Pro, Premier, Enterprise Solutions, Accountant Edition, and Mac).
If you don’t use any of the add-on services in QuickBooks Desktop 2018, your product will continue to work for you. You will not be able to subscribe to live technical support or any of the other Intuit services that can be integrated with QuickBooks Desktop
Services
Your access to QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Services, Live Support, Online Backup, Online Banking, and other services through QuickBooks Desktop 2018 software will be discontinued after May 31, 2021.
Security
You will no longer receive critical security updates/patches starting June 1, 2021. Be sure to install any security updates you receive before this date.
Payments
QuickBooks Point of Sale 12.0 payment services will no longer work as of March 31, 2021. If you are using QuickBooks Point of Sale 12.0 with credit card processing, please contact us immediately.
