After July 31, 2024, Intuit will no longer sell new subscriptions of the following Desktop products in the US:
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll
IMPORTANT: If you are using QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier non-subscription versions and wish to stay on the desktop platform, it is important that you contact Intuit to purchase the Plus (subscription) version BEFORE 7/31/2024. Note: Currently BIC can not sell any QuickBooks desktop products other than QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

Intuit is also encouraging all QuickBooks Desktop users to upgrade to the latest version (2024) before July 31, 2024. For subscription versions, you already own the latest version and it can be found in your Intuit account. Contact BIC today if you want help with the upgrade process.
What is not changing:
- Existing Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, and Enhanced Payroll subscribers can continue to renew their subscription after July 31, 2024 (subject to change). Intuit will continue to provide security updates, product updates, and support for existing subscribers.
- All QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise subscriptions (Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond) will continue to be available for purchase for new subscribers after July 31, 2024. Enterprise Gold, Platinum, and Diamond include integrated payroll.
- Accountants can continue purchasing QuickBooks Accountant Desktop Solutions, including ProAdvisor bundles, through Intuit’s Accountant Sales team after July 31, 2024.
