Intuit Ending Support for Older QuickBooks Versions
If you are a longtime QuickBooks user, then you are probably well aware that Intuit performs annual “sunsetting” of their older software versions. When a sunset occurs, Intuit discontinues support and services for the sunset versions, allowing them to free up their resources to improve and support their current versions. This May 31st, support will be discontinued for QuickBooks 2011.
The sunsetting of these versions not only affects the ability to receive technical support, but it will also affect add-on services that are used with QuickBooks. Services such as Payroll, Credit Card Processing, QuickBooks Email, Online Banking, Multi Store Store Exchange and others will no longer work with these versions of QuickBooks.
If you are using a version that will be sunset this year, you may have received notification from Intuit, and possibly a discount offer for the upgrade. We’d be happy to handle the upgrade order for you and assist with the installation if you think you will need help. We are offering our customers a 20% discount when upgrading. Order on April 21st or 22nd and receive an additional 5% off. We will also honor any discount offers you receive from Intuit.
